Foil Hand & Footprint Kits

What does the Foil Hand and Footprint Kit include?

3 sheets of A5 reactive paper, 1 inkiness wipe, 1 instruction leaflet and 1 ‘finished result’ example flyer.

What makes the Gift Kit different from the Foil Hand and Footprint kit?

The contents is the same as the Foil Hand and Footprint kit however this product in terms of aesthetics, it looks a lot more premium as it comes in a glossy folder, is beautifully tied together with string and comes with a dedicated card with instructions of how to store the prints that have been taken once the kit is used. It makes the perfect keepsake gift for any new parent.

Do either of the above two products come framed?

Please note, the Foil Hand and Footprint Kit finished product is print-only however once you have uploaded your prints, you can choose to upgrade to framed. The Gift Kit is also print-only unless ‘Framed Foil Print’ is chosen and paid for at the checkout. This product can also be upgraded to framed too once prints are uploaded if not already.

I would like a rose gold frame but I can only see black or white, why is this?

Please note, the majority of our product images are for illustration purposes only. The frames we stock are either black or white wooden A4 or A5 and the photographs of these are within many of our product listings.

How many handprints/footprints can you fit on a print?

On an A4 print, we can either fit:

  • a baby’s/child’s hand and footprint
  • sibling handprints
  • sibling footprints
On an A3 print, we can either fit:
  • 2 adults handprints
  • 2 adults and one child’s handprints
  • 3 children’s handprints (age dependant - please contact us before ordering)
  • 4 younger children/infants’ handprints (again age dependant - please contact us before ordering)
Our A5 prints are suited to smaller prints i.e. a pet’s paw print or a child’s single hand or foot - depending on the age of the child we can advise if this will fit prior to ordering.

Are the handprints life size?

Yes! This is why when you are uploading your images, it is so important that you follow the instruction leaflet we enclose very carefully, ensuring we can see all four corners of the paper and the photo is taken from a bird’s eye view.

I have my own prints and don’t need your kit, can you work with these?

Absolutely! You can order our specific product here:
The beauty of this product is that it cuts out the waiting time for the inkiness kit to be delivered but we do still ask for 5 working days for us to get a proof over to you.

How long do I have to upload my prints for the Foil Hand and Footprint Kit/Gift Kit?

Our customers are very happy to know that there is no time limit on uploading the prints - providing the wipe hasn't been opened or used otherwise, it may dry out.

I think I’ve messed up the prints! Help!

Don’t panic - during the editing process we edit out any smudges/marks and you’ll be amazed at how we clean any ‘messy’ prints up before sending over a proof. If you’re really not sure, please get in touch prior to uploading and we can take a look at them for you and let you know if we can work with them or not.

My Foil Hand and Footprint Kit hasn’t arrived, can you update me?

Please allow 2-3 working days for second class mail or 1 working day for first class. Please note if it has been a Bank Holiday, delays are to be expected. If your order hasn’t arrived within 5 working days, please get in touch via email or Whatsapp quoting your order number.

How will you send my proof to me?

When you are uploading your prints, you will be asked whether you would like a proof via email or Whatsapp. Hint: Whatsapp is much quicker and avoids emails going into junk/spam folders!

I’ve uploaded my prints but I haven’t heard from you - why not?

If you chose to receive a proof via email, please ensure you are checking your junk or spam folder, particularly if we are not in your contact list. If 5 working days has passed, please get in touch quoting your order number and we will check where we are up to with your proof.

My print has come but I want more copies, do I have to order the kit again?

No! All you need to do is purchase extra copies which you can do here:

I’m outside of the UK, can I still order from your website?

We are currently shipping to the UK only but international orders is something we would like to explore in the future.

How much is delivery?

Arrives 2 - 4 days after dispatch.

Who will deliver my item?

All products are delivered via Royal Mail to UK customers.

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay via credit or debit card, PayPal, Klarna or Clearpay.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Once you order you will receive an email confirmation including your order number. If not in your inbox, it may have gone into junk or spam. Please make a note of this incase you have to contact us for whatever reason regarding your order.

Can I change my order once it has been placed?

Please contact us within 24 hours of placing an order to make any changes. You can email us or contact us via the website quoting your order number and the changes you would like to make. If you contact us outside of this time, we cannot guarantee that work on your product has started. Changes after you have received your product will simply be a new order and thus payable.

Can I cancel or return an order?

We can accept cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order. If contact is made outside of this time, we may not be able to cancel your order. We do not accept returns on personalised items. If you need to make a return for any other item, please contact us via email or Whatsapp.

I chose next day dispatch at the checkout but my print is still not here, why is that?

The upgrade is first class via Royal Mail so it is next day dispatch after we post it. Please note we still require 2-3 working days handling time to actually process the order, even more so during our busier periods i.e. Christmas.
