How to Create Baby Keepsakes in 6 Steps

To get started, all you need is your baby, the kit, and a firm surface. If needed, the sturdy box the kit arrives in doubles as a reliable surface for taking prints.

1. Wait until your baby is calm

Find a calm moment for you and your baby. After a feeding is ideal, or you can even take the prints while your little one is snoozing.

If you're taking footprints, remove anything covering the feet. If it's cold, keep a blanket wrapped around your baby to keep them cosy.

2. Remove the items from the box

Grab the box and remove the contents. Inside the kit, you'll find:

• 2 inkless wipes

• 4 sheets of reactive paper

• A card with your order number on it

• A detailed instruction booklet plus information on how to order add-ons and extra prints

  
  

3. Apply the inkless wipe

The kit enables you to take prints of one of the following:

• Two hands

• Two feet

• One hand and one foot

Decide which option you prefer before removing one of the inkless wipes from its packaging.

Apply it thoroughly to your baby's hands and/or feet. We also included a second wipe as a backup, just in case. Once you have applied it to your baby, there's no need to reapply.

4. Press onto the reactive paper

Using a firm surface (or the kit box), gently press your little one's feet or hands onto the reactive paper. An imprint will magically appear!

Go ahead and use all four sheets. The more prints we receive, the easier it is to select the best ones for the finished result.

5. Snap and upload the photos

The hard part is over!

When you have a moment to yourself, snap a photo of each sheet of reactive paper. 

The important part is to ensure that all four sides of the paper are within the shot so we can view the entire thing. This allows us to adjust the image so it accurately captures the size of those teeny hands and feet.

For this reason, please don't take close-up images of the prints without having the sides of the paper in shot. Otherwise, we can't determine the true size of the prints.

Next, upload the photos to our website. You'll also need to input your order number that arrived in the kit.

At this point, you can also choose your personalisation options and extras. 

Here's what you can do:

• Add any text you like (baby's name, birth info, a special quote, etc.)

• Pick the font of the text

• Order extra copies of the print

• Add a frame upgrade

6. Wait for your keepsake to arrive

Once the photos are uploaded, relax and let us do the rest.

We'll select the best prints and tidy them up by removing any smudges and other imperfections. Then, you'll receive the final result for approval via WhatsApp or email.

When you give us the thumbs up, we'll go ahead and transform them into stunning foil prints.

Finally, we send the print to your door, free of charge.
